HUFFLEPUFF STEALS FIRST PLACE IN THIS TERM'S HOUSE CUP TERM-OPENER WITH 385 POINTS! Ravenclaw tails closely behind with a total of 305 points, Gryffindor and Slytherin left in the dust with 45 and 170. With that being said, TERM IS AROUND THE CORNER, SO BEGIN GETTING ACTIVE! All right, BIIIG update. (PLEASE READ TO THE END!)
... so we're like, ALMOST a month late. But we hope it's been worth it for you guys! EVERYTHING is brand new! New face claim, new plot, new term, new characters, new professors... you've even been able to reset your entire character without an application! Hogwarts : A Legend is back and kickin', the old HaL we've always known to be is finally back! Feel free to leave us some feedback in the Help, Feedback & Suggestions board - we'd really appreciate it! Please note that this is currently in a state of "beta" - we're still working out the bugs, so if you find any, please notify an administrator!
In other words... not only has the forum changed aesthetically, but in terms of functions and the way things work around here, we've also revised our official rules with aims to be less complicating and conflicting. HaL is now rated 16+. We wanted to allow more freedom and creative writing, however, don't abuse the system, because we will throw fish at you! Our chatbox also now follows a slick set of colour-coordinated ranks; light red is administration, gray is a member, and off-white is guests. We have also eliminated the tedious amounts of awards that are logged each month. We now have Member of the Month (meaning yourself - kindness, attitude, helpfulness, etc) and Character of the Month, awarded to your character for activity, quality of posts, etc...
Galleons, sickles and knuts have been reduced to mere galleons! And yes, we have plans for them, so keep posting and saving them up, because we're gonna be doing a few activities with them! Hogwarts : A Legend now operates on a "time-shift" basis, where the role playing date will be set underneath the role playing month banner, and the weather of that day can be found by hovering over the month's icon. House points can be found by looking below the (if you've read this far, send Connor, "I rock." in a PM for 25 house points) month, and can be found by hovering the mouse over each of the shields.
Wow, that was long - but we really hope you guys enjoy the new updates as much as we know we are. Over the past three months we've been diligently working to bring you something we feel is one of the best HaL has ever seen, and we hope you guys will enjoy sharing it with us, too. There are always people willing to role-play with others, and because of the size of our community, some threads are left unanswered. All unanswered threads shall be placed here, should you like to resurrect them, please contact an administrator. What you can also do in this board is seek someone to role-play with or open threads to reply to. If you are at the request of creating a "thread tracker", please check the sub board!

Should you wish to reopen a thread/keep a thread open, please notify and admin of the specific one you wish to keep (beforehand, of course). Otherwise all shall be moved into this board as a result.
